IOP stands for: Intensive Outpatient Program, which is a group focused treatment. This program is an outpatient service, but is more intensive because members meet 3 days week.
What if i am nervous to join a group?
You aren’t alone! A lot of individuals who have joined IOP over the years initially are nervous. HOWEVER, many report that it feels good to be in a safe space with others who understand what they are experiencing. We have found that individuals who have expressed being nervous end up not wanting to the experience to end.
who is a good fit?
Someone with a mental health diagnosis that is finding it difficult to manage/navigate emotions.
What can someone gain from this program?
We believe that IOP members will finish this program with a foundation that will support their mental health journey. The foundation will be build primarily through the lens of these 5 core topics:
Health Boundaries
Coping Skills
Emotional Regulation
Healthy Communication
Distress Tolerance
